About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling.
This is not your average Project Manager role. The work will be varied with every day presenting new experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the Community Resource Centre team. You will:
- Lead and shape delivery and development of the Community Resource Centre Program and team.
- Own a large and complex community services contract, compliant with the Delivering Community Services in Partnership Policy.
- Engage stakeholders who are funded by DPIRD to deliver services in regional Western Australia.
- Represent the Department in meetings with stakeholders, for whole of government activities, or to provide information and advice on how to meet contract and grant requirements.
- Travel independently throughout Regional Western Australia, including remote communities.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Experience managing a team delivering community services contracting and management, and small grants.
- Ability to prioritise a team’s tasks and organise workloads to meet targets and deliverables.
- Knowledge of Not-For-Profit organisations and governance requirements.
- A can-do attitude along with the following skills:
- Research, and analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions, strategies or frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to troubleshoot financial and governance issues in NFPs and to deliver workshop content is highly desirable.

DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
