This vacancy is available as a Permanent or
Fixed Term appointment at various hours per fortnight. Fixed Term
includes the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
Position Profile: The
Team Leader – Sterilisation Services is responsible for ensuring
the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Sterilisation
Services Department (SSD), including the decontamination,
disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical and surgical
instruments and equipment. The role provides day-to-day operational
leadership, including supervision, coordination and development of
staff, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies and
infection control requirements. The position also supports
continuous quality improvement, staff capability development and
the maintenance of a safe and high-performing work
environment.
Eligibility to Apply: To be
eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa
(for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen,
permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in
Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to
fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.

unique biodiversity and a rich natural environment. The Regional
Health Service offers two (2) main health facilities at Bunbury and
Busselton. The Health Service is also widely supported with a
network of smaller hospitals and Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) sites
at: Augusta, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Collie, Donnybrook, Harvey,
Margaret River, Nannup, Northcliffe, Pemberton and
Warren.
