About the position
The Experiences and Events Manager role presents an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced individual with a proven track record of managing large-scale events. The successful candidate should be capable of immediately contributing to a diverse range of events, including artist talks, dinners, and sophisticated launch events exceeding 500 attendees.

We currently have one fixed-term, full-time (1.0 FTE) position for a period of 12 months, covering parental leave, available for immediate filling.

This position is located in central Perth within the Cultural Centre hub close to the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.

Pre-employment Conditions

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be an Australian citizen, have permanent resident status in Australia or have a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia for the period of your employment contract.

Successful applicants will be required to complete the below prior to commencement:

  • A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within AGWA and the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
