About the role
We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our Network & Infrastructure division as Senior Contract Managers. These roles play a key part in managing procurement and contract activities across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, goods and services contracts.
There are two opportunities available – one permanent and one 24-month fixed term with the possibility of extension and/or permanency opportunity. Both positions are full time, providing flexibility for candidates seeking stability or project-based experience.
In this role, you will contract manage infrastructure contracts and support tender development. Risk management, contract administration and performance monitoring are to success. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to ensure delivery of contracts in line with cost, quality, safety and time objectives.
You will also contribute to financial monitoring, manage contract variations, ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks and maintain accurate contract records. The role provides the opportunity to influence outcomes through continuous improvement initiatives, stakeholder engagement and strategic contract management practices.

To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience managing the procurement lifecycle, with strong contract management capability
- Knowledge of government procurement policies, procedures and contract frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Well-developed analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills

There are two opportunities available:
- One permanent, full-time position
- One 24-month fixed term position, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency
Both roles are available for an immediate start.
Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may also be considered for similar fixed term or permanent vacancies that arise within the next 12 months.
This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months.
To be eligible to work permanently at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, have Permanent Residency status or hold a current visa with permanent working rights in Australia.
