Currently we are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist, at HSO P3 level to co-lead the Intensive Care and Out of Hours Physiotherapy Service. This position has a clinical caseload and supervises P2 and P1 staff within the Intensive Care and Out of Hours Physiotherapy Service.

The successful applicant/s as part of a multidisciplinary team:

  • Practices as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and SMHS policies and guidelines;
  • Provides high quality specialised Physiotherapy services using extensive knowledge and a specialist level of skills, to a diverse and complex caseload in Intensive Care;
  • Leads and manages Physiotherapy services to a diverse and complex inpatient caseload within the Intensive Care Unit including coordination of the out of hours service;
  • Applies a specialised level of clinical knowledge, negotiates and collaborates with the managers and relevant stakeholders to support clinical service delivery and planning.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
