About the
OPPORTUNITY
The Assistant in Nursing is
responsible for delivery of care within the scope of the duties of
the AIN and under the supervision and delegation of a Nurse. The
Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is responsible for the delivery of the
delegated care in a safe and person-centred approach, in
collaboration with patients, their families and nurses.
To be successful in
this role, you will have…
- Effective Interpersonal
skills, written and verbal, inclusive of numeric
skills.
- Demonstrated ability and
knowledge of safe manual handling procedures, knowledge of
occupational health and safety principles including patient
handling and infection control.
- Ability
to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability
to follow instructions and work with minimal
supervision.
- Demonstrated digital
capability to enable navigation of online policy access,
internal communication and completing of online learning
resources.
