Eligibility to Apply: To
be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working
visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen,
permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in
Australia (for permanent appointments). Applicants must obtain conditional approval from
their manager to be released for this opportunity before
applying.
Other Conditions: WA
Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA
Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records
screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment
process. As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and
integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working
with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment
health assessment. We may ask referees to comment on your integrity
and past demonstration of ethical behaviour. Please note that
adverse information does not necessarily disqualify an applicant
but will be considered as part of the appointment
process.
Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
Position
Profile:
We’re seeking
a strong leader to take on the Director, Health Networks role at a
key time for WA Health. This role sits at the centre of
shaping a more integrated, high-performing system—bringing
clinicians, services and partners together to influence system
priorities and contribute to the reform agenda.
In this role,
you will:

visible leadership across the system
- Strengthen Health
Networks as a platform for integration and
collaboration
- Connect
strategy, planning and service delivery, ensuring clinical
insight shapes decisions
- Champion
best practice, innovation and shared models of care
- Support
meaningful clinician and consumer engagement in system
design
Health
Networks are critical to building a more connected and coordinated
system, enabling clinical leadership at scale and reducing
fragmentation. This role will help position networks as the
link between frontline care and system strategy, supporting more
consistent, equitable and sustainable services.
