About the role
This role supports the delivery of youth and community-focused safety communications programs across the Public Transport Authority, contributing to safer behaviour and awareness across the network. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver initiatives that address safety-related issues, particularly within youth and community settings.
You will coordinate the planning and delivery of communication programs and campaigns, including the development of resources, materials and messaging to support key safety outcomes. The role also involves managing suppliers, coordinating budgets and ensuring programs are delivered effectively and in line with strategic objectives.
Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will build strong relationships with schools, community groups and government agencies, represent PTA in forums, and lead evaluation activities to measure program effectiveness and continuous improvement.

There is one permanent part-time opportunity available, working 64 hours per fortnight. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be considered for similar fixed term or permanent vacancies that arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work permanently at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, have Permanent Residency status or hold a current visa with permanent working rights in Australia.
