Care Group (SCGOPHCG).
This is for Permanent Sessional appointments; however,
we will consider Fixed Term Sessional appointments with the
possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
What is our consultant –
Physician – HiTH role?
This position leads a multidisciplinary team providing
comprehensive patient-centered hospital care to patients in the
home setting; provides care to both inpatients and outpatients;
provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and
education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health
workers; in collaboration with the head of Department and other
Consultants works to achieve national, state and NMHS performance
standards and targets; works within the endorsed scope of clinical
practice.

services including trauma, emergency and critical care,
orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care.
It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest
cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal
hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian
citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for

sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have
documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in
Australia for the period of the contract.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"

vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
