About
the Role
Tenure: Fixed
Term and Permanent full-time
The
Department of Energy and Economic Diversification is establishing a
pool of experienced Directors to lead major projects, industry
transition and regional development initiatives. These roles
provide strategic leadership and advice on complex issues that
support economic diversification, investment attraction and long
term success for Western Australia.
We are
seeking accomplished leaders with exceptional stakeholder
engagement, relationship management and strategic thinking skills
to lead complex programs and initiatives. Working collaboratively
across government, industry and the community, you will provide
high level leadership and advice, navigate complex challenges and
help shape the future of Western Australia's economy. If you are
passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes and making a
lasting impact, we want to hear from you!
The following
Director opportunities offer the chance to lead high profile
initiatives and programs that will help shape Western Australia's
economic future.
Director
Closure and Transition (Permanent – Full-Time)
Leads and
facilitates the coordination of the government approvals process
for large and complex resource projects and infrastructure planning
initiatives, with a focus on legacy State Agreement projects that
are preparing for closure and/or transitioning to new authorising
environments.
Director
Collie Transition (Permanent – Full-Time)
Play a key
role in shaping Collie's future by leading projects that support
industry attraction and economic diversification. You will drive
initiatives that create new opportunities for investment,
employment and long term sustainable growth for the
region.
Director
Major Projects (Fixed term – Full-Time)
Lead
strategic reform initiatives that improve the effectiveness,
efficiency and coordination of Western Australia's approvals
system. You will influence policy, drive change and help create a
more streamlined environment for investment and project
development.
