This role provides essential support to students and staff by facilitating access to library resources and assisting with technology use. You will help maintain efficient library systems and contribute to the planning and delivery of high‑quality library programs that enhance learning across the school.

We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

We currently have 2x Permanent full-time positions available.

About the role

  • Empower clients to confidently access library resources and technology.
  • Keep library systems running smoothly, from circulation to student cards.
  • Deliver engaging orientations and support library skills development.
  • Create a welcoming, well-organised library environment with standout services.
  • Contribute to collection growth, library improvements, and occasional creative or admin tasks.

There is an option to accrue an additional two weeks leave each year on top of your standard four weeks annual leave.

North Metropolitan TAFE (NMTAFE) is the State Government’s vocational education and training provider for northern Perth.
