This is a permanent, full time vacancy at Pardelup Prison Farm

This recruitment process will also be utilised to appoint fixed term contracts or permanent garden instructor positions at Albany Regional Prison as vacancies arise.

About the role

The Gardens and Grounds Instructor provides the maintenance of the grounds, gardens and turf to produce products and services to support prison operations. The position provides on the job instruction, accredited training and supervision to prisoners who work in this area. The position holds a supervisory role over other staff in this area.

Eligibility

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.

Successful applicants must possess a Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent.
