Registrar - Service - Vascular Surgery (Pre-Set)

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2026.

Position Profile:
The position of Pre-Set Vascular Registrar is for post RMO level doctors who are considering a career in Vascular Surgery or a Paravascular specialty. This registrar position will undertake clinical duties as part of the general vascular team as well as within the vascular laboratory and will be encouraged and facilitated to undertake a minimum of one audit project with the potential to coordinate higher level research.

The position is for one year in the first instance but has the potential to be continued as a cross Perth rotation for up to 3 years.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services
