Position
Profile:
- Leads
the Safety After Hours for Everyone (SAFE) multidisciplinary
team to provide specialist medical services to patients,
providing a link between the out of hours service and in hours
teams, provide consistent medical review and support to
facilitate patients receiving optimal care in the correct
location.
- Promotes
patient safety and quality of care.
- Provides
leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education,
where relevant, for doctors in training and other health
workers.
- In
collaboration with the Head/Deputy Head of Department and other
Consultants works to achieve national, state and EMHS
performance standards and targets.
- Works
within the scope of clinical practice as defined and
recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking
a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be
required to undertake a working with children check (if required
