Equivalent).
What
is our Consultant - Physician - Oncology role?
The
successful applicant will lead the multidisciplinary team to
provide specialist medical services to patients. This
includes:
- Promoting
patient safety and quality of care.
- Providing
leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education,
where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical
Practitioners and other health workers.
- Promoting,
developing and participating in clinical research including
clinical trials.
- Working
in collaboration with the Head of Department and other
Consultants to achieve national, state and NMHS performance
standards and targets.
- Enhancing
the reputation of the department for clinical excellence at a
state and national level.
- Working
within the scope of clinical practice as defined and
recommended by the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Medical
Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice
Committee.

Eligibility
to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
decision.
