Registrar - Service - Psychiatry
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part
Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of
extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 30/10/2027.
Position Profiles:
Fiona Stanley Hospital
(FSH) and its 30 bed purpose-built Mental Health unit
is offering allocations to various units including: Youth; YCATT,
Youth Hospital in the Home, Mother and Baby; Liaison Mental Health
Assessment, ED, Consultation Liaison, Addictions. Successful
applicants will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary
team that provides in and out patient service to cater for the
mental health, AOD and behavioural addictions needs of an extensive
cohort of patients. They will work closely with the Consultant to
ensure the team delivers personalised, safe and timely care and
promotes the organisation’s culture of commitment, accountability,
respect and excellence. Registrars will be able to access teaching,
research and supervision.
Cockburn Health is a statewide Mental Health and
Addictions standalone facility for women only. It has 50 beds and
outpatient clinics. The wards include women’s mental health, eating
disorders, withdrawal management from alcohol and other drugs and
behavioural addictions. Registrars will be able to access teaching,
research and supervision.
