We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Oberthur Primary School (PS), an Independent Public School, is in a quiet area of Bull Creek set in attractive surroundings with many trees, shade, and well- maintained gardens. Our school has a traditionally strong community involvement. The school population of 650 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 has a mix of cultural backgrounds and English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) is a feature as well as a Chinese Immersion (bilingual) Program in all Pre-Primary to Year 6 classes.

The Role

The School Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support within a dynamic and diverse school environment, with a strong emphasis on front office reception and customer service. The suitable applicants would work closely with, and support, the Manager Corporate Services in the delivery of financial and administrative functions, including the maintenance of financial records and processes.

The role is responsible for the accurate and confidential management of student enrolments, records and databases, along with attendance processes and system updates.

The suitable applicants would build and maintain positive working relationships with students, staff, families and external stakeholders, display excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The role actively supports whole-school operations, including events and organisational processes, and requires flexibility, initiative and commitment to effective teamwork in order to contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
