Delivery of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) services provides support for the Department’s educational outcomes by developing initiatives and technical support strategies to ensure over 800 Western Australian public schools and other worksites can be individual, distinctive and responsive to their local communities while still benefiting from being part of a system.
The ICT Operations and Customer Service Directorate is part of the ICT Division and is the primary entry point to ICT for any responses to operational issues requests or problems customers of ICT may have. As the highest frequency contact point for customers in many respects it is the “face of ICT”.
The Role
The Client Support Officer provides operational support for the Notebooks for Teachers Program (the Program), including handling of enrolments and withdrawals for participating teachers, physical handling of notebooks (e.g. cleaning, storage, stock control and packaging) and coordinating the distribution, dispatching and return of notebooks and accessories. They monitor Program operations to ensure processes and procedures are timely, effective and compliant with legislation and Departmental policy.
The position may be tasked to undertake basic research to identify emerging trends and issues and otherwise contribute to the development and improvement of Program initiatives. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to maintain and monitor databases, reconcile records and analyse data information to meet reporting obligations.
