Fremantle Hospital
and Health Service is actively seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to
join our Mental Health team.
This
is a Permanent Full-Time / Fixed Term Full-Time appointment with
the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We have multiple
FTEs available for immediate start.
No
Locum Agency or International Candidates need not apply due to time
restraints of commencement.
About
the Role:
You will lead
the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services
to patients. You will promote patient safety and quality of care.
You will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and
education, where relevant, for doctors in training, health service
medical practitioners and other health workers.
In
collaboration with the Medical/Service Co-Director/Head of
Department/Head of Speciality and other Consultants, you will work
to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service
(SMHS) performance standards and targets.
You will work
within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by
the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).
