Registrar - Service - Psychiatry
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for
6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 30/10/2026.
Position Profiles:
Fremantle Hospital
(FH) MHS situated at Alma St Centre provides
multidisciplinary Inpatient and community treatment for patients
aged 18years and over through a range of services. In addition to
continuing care community mental health teams there is also a
Neurostimulation unit providing ECT and rTMS, Home Treatment Team,
Assertive Treatment Team (ATT), Assertive Community Treatment Team
(ACTT) and Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team. The Older
Adult program includes a Community Mental Health Team (FOAMHS) and
an Inpatient Team. Other services include Dual Diagnosis, Wellness
Clinic, Hampton House (Step up-Step down service), and Group
therapy. The service also provides input to the medical and
surgical wards through its Consultation Liaison Psychiatry
service.
All
medical staff are supervised by accredited supervisors and work
closely with the Consultant. FHMHS prides itself in its provision
of trauma informed, evidence based and recovery focussed
person-centred care in a professional working environment and
culture along with emphasis on team work.

health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical

Requirements - Eligibility for appointment to the Service
Registrar position requires successful completion of AMC Part 2.
Candidates who have not completed AMC Part 2 will not be
