Nyabing Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mainstream Education Assistant to join their friendly team.

The Role
As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will have a passion for working with students and have highly developed organisation and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will ideally be committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. This role requires you to work as part of a dedicated team and provides you with the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be organised and diligent to effectively maintain and utilise resources for use in classes and ensure a safe, tidy learning environment is maintained. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to quickly establish a good rapport with students and staff. You should display the ability to communicate effectively with the classroom teacher and be guided by their advice.

Eligibility

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
