The
Opportunity
The Surgical
Division at Armadale Health Service provides high-quality,
patient-centred care across Colyer (Surgical) Ward, 23 Hours Ward
and Same Day Unit:
- Colyer Ward
(34 beds) –This is a Medical/ Surgical
ward, caring for multi-night
stay patients pre- and post-emergency or elective surgery
across a range of specialties, including General Surgery, ENT,
Orthopaedics, Vascular, Urology, Obstetrics-Gynaecology, and
more. The ward also accommodates medical outliers based on
patient flow.
- 23 Hour Ward
(6 beds) – A short-stay unit for low-complexity
patients requiring overnight care.
- Same Day Unit
– Is the admission point for all adult patients
undergoing planned surgery and for some emergency
patients.
These areas
are staffed by a highly skilled, compassionate, and supportive
nursing team dedicated to providing the highest standards of
care.

About
You
You are a
compassionate, dedicated, and skilled RN who thrives in a
fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering
high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will
have:
- Current
AHPRA Registration and recent, relevant surgical
experience;
- Strong
demonstrated clinical skills in effectively managing a surgical
patient case load;
- A
team-oriented mindset with excellent communication
skills;
- The
ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic surgical
setting;
- A
commitment to continuous learning and professional
development;
- Current
working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not
available for this role).
