Position Profile: This
is a specialist role that provides an effective clinical and
management function. As a consequence, the position holder
influences the practice of nursing in allocated clinical area’s,
both within and external to their health service. Areas of
accountability will include the provision of leadership, clinical
standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change
management.

(PCH): is Western Australia's specialist paediatric
hospital and trauma centre, with 298 beds. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical
Centre, PCH offers primary care for severe medical cases and
secondary services such as inpatient, outpatient, and day-stay

Eligibility to Apply: To be

(for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen,
permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in
Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this
selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout
the health service. In addition to this, should the successful
applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next
most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the
recruitment decision.
