Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH)
are seeking 2 passionate Senior Occupational Therapists with
experience in Stroke/Neurology to join our team in part-time
capacities (0.6 FTE / 45.6 hours per fortnight):
- Permanent Role - East RITH
- Fixed Term Role (12 months) with possibility of
extension - Parental leave vacancy North RITH
RITH provides short to medium term
hospital substitution allied health therapy for patients at home.
The service aims to facilitate early supported discharge from
hospitals or avoidance of hospital admission for patients.
RITH has offices based at the following locations:
- North: Joondalup, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
- East: Armadale, Royal Perth Hospital, South Guildford
- South: Fremantle, Rockingham, Mandurah

About the Role
The Senior Occupational
Therapist applies advanced skills in managing a complex
clinical caseload in the clinical area of Stroke/Neurology. You
will also provide leadership and support to the multidisciplinary
RITH team in managing clients through consultancy services, staff
education and clinical supervision. You will plan, coordinate, and
evaluate RITH practices in their clinical specialty, using quality
improvement and research principles. You will support RITH teams
across the respective RITH hub (East/North/South). You will
practice as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensures practice is
in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Code
of Conduct, the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
Registration Standards and SMHS policies and guidelines.

working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian
citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work
indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
