This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent, Fixed Term, and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Position Profile: As part of a multidisciplinary team the Senior Social Worker, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Social Work services to patients of the Armadale Kalamunda Group using advanced Social Work clinical practice skills. Plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. This role supervises Social Work staff and support staff in the unit/clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance; and practices as a Senior Social Worker and ensures practice is in accordance to the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards 2013 and Code of Ethics 2010 and EMHS policies and guidelines.

Social Work provides a 7 day a week service at Armadale Kalamunda Group and opportunities for weekend work in the Emergency Department will be considered as part of this recruitment process.
 
Area Profile:
Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a general hospital focused on providing a range of high quality health care services in the community. The hospital, which is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and ambulatory care.
