Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must
have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an
Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and
work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the
above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"

from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses

Position Profile: We are seeing to appoint to the
role of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) who will support
the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and act in their role as required. The
ANUM supports the NUM in the provision of leadership and management
including the management of budgetary, human resources and clinical
services in the Palliative care speciality, whilst demonstrating
the AKG vision and values. The successful applicant will provide
clinical leadership and have advanced clinical skills to deal with
complex admissions as well as promoting and implementing
evidence-based care and therapeutic interventions in collaboration
with the inter-professional team. The ANUM will also report against
key performance indicators to monitor and continually improve
patient care and the health service outcomes.
Area Profile: Kalamunda Hospital is a specialist hospital
and is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides
both day surgical procedures and a specialist inpatient palliative
care service for patients in the east metropolitan area.
