Registrar - Trainee - Cardiothoracic Surgery
This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6
or 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made
from this pool until 02/11/2026. Appointments for this
position will not commence until 2027.
Salary: MP
Year 1-7 $128,760 - $175,802 p.a. (plus 12% superannuation and
professional development allowance)
Position Profile:
The Department of Cardiothoracic
Surgery is seeking a Registrar with significant experience in
Cardiothoracic Surgery. The role of the Registrar would be
dependent on their previous experience and ability but would
involve pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative
management of Cardiothoracic Surgical patients. Service provision
will be in accordance with departmental needs during normal working
hours and as rostered for after hours and weekends. Service
provision will encompass inpatient and outpatient and day care as
determined and may vary from time to time depending on
organisational needs and objectives.
