To be successful, you
will have...
- Eligible for registration
in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and
Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced
clinical and professional knowledge and extensive experience
and leadership in area of specialty, with the ability to
assess, plan, initiate and manage complex cases at an advanced
level.
- Extensive knowledge and
application of safety and quality improvement and research
principles to support evidenced based practice.
- Demonstrated well
developed interpersonal and communication (written/oral)
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to
work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary

capability across clinical systems and platforms that
contribute to cancer contract activities, data collection and
reporting.
Position
Profile:
Responsible for delivering high-quality,
patient-centred care across the continuum for clients with lung and
upper gastrointestinal (UGI) malignancies, in collaboration with
the McGrath Foundation and all areas of the health service.
Provides leadership in developing and enhancing specialist lung and
UGI services, driving innovative and evidence-based practice in
alignment with McGrath Model of Care, optimal care pathways and
clinical guidelines. Offers expert lung and UGI nursing knowledge
and coordinates care across the organisation to ensure integrated,
best-practice service delivery.

Profile
WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health
region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200
Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language
groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or
Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberley consists of six
hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community
Directorates and a Corporate Office. WACHS Kimberley provides
hospital, community health, public health, remote area health,
community aged care, and mental health services across the region
through a dedicated team of medical, nursing, Aboriginal health,
allied health, and support staff.
