This
is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12
months.
This
includes appointment of 2.0 positions one with RPH Spinal
commencing Feb 2027 and the other with PlusLIFE commencing August
2027.
Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from
this pool until 04/12/2026.
Salary:
Senior Registrar Year 1-2 $228,222 to $238,666 p.a. (inclusive
of base salary, 12% superannuation and professional development
allowance at 3 September 2026)
Position Profiles:
Spinal
Fellow:
We are
seeking to appoint a Spinal Fellow to our Orthopaedic Surgery
Department In this role you will provide a high-quality
clinical service to hospital patients. You will be required to
promote high quality patient centred care to inpatients and
outpatients of the State Spinal and Scoliosis Service under the
supervision of consultants and within a multi-disciplinary team to
review the medical needs of the patients. You will assist with
teaching and support to Resident Medical Officers and Interns, and
in collaboration with the interdisciplinary teams, work to achieve
National, State and Hospital performance standards and National
Safety and Quality Healthcare standards.
PlusLife Fellow:
Royal Perth Hospital State Spine and Scoliosis Service (4
days/week) We are seeking to appoint a PlusLife
Fellow to provide extensive and high-quality experience in the
assessment, diagnosis, and management of spinal disorders including
elective, spinal deformity and trauma aspect. PlusLife
(Perth Bone and Tissue Bank) 1 day/week To provide medical
advice and support in relation to allograft retrievals and donor
file reviews and to provide a functional understanding of the
operations of a MSK tissue banking service.
