What is the Role?

The ERA is seeking an experienced professional to join the Electricity Access team on a permanent basis as Manager Projects within the Regulation Division.

In this role, you will lead and deliver complex, high-impact projects, including the review of Western Power’s access arrangement governing third-party access to the electricity network. You will provide specialist expertise in economic regulation, project governance and policy development to support informed regulatory decision-making in the Western Australian energy sector.

You will manage projects end-to-end, including planning, resourcing, budgets and external consultants, contribute to strategic and change initiatives, and provide expert advice to senior leaders. The role also leads consultation and engagement with industry, government and other stakeholders to support robust, well-informed outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring strong knowledge of the Western Australian energy sector and the economic regulation of electricity networks with demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects. You will apply sound research and problem-solving skills, communicate complex information clearly, and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
