The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Coordinator to join our team.

The Student Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting student wellbeing, engagement and attendance, with a particular focus on students at educational risk. The role provides individualised case management, coordinating internal and external support services to ensure students receive timely and appropriate assistance. The coordinator works closely with students, families and relevant agencies, develops and monitors wellbeing and engagement programs, and supports the implementation of strategies that improve participation in educational programs.

In addition, the Student Support Coordinator provides advice to staff on complex student matters, prepares case notes and reports, analyses attendance and program data to identify trends, and responds to enquiries from parents and community members regarding engagement concerns. The role also includes leading and mentoring Allied Professional staff within the student services team and establishing effective partnerships, agreements and protocols with support and employer agencies to enhance outcomes for identified students
