We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

As a School Officer at Kellerberrin DHS, you would undertake reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering telephone enquiries and responding to routine requests for information in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. Please note, this position involves managing the school front office and being the first point of contact for students, families, staff and community members.

The Corporate Services team at Kellerberrin DHS works collaboratively to provide a responsive and supportive administration service to staff, students, parents/carers and the wider school community. School Officers are an integral part of this team and contribute to a broad range of student and school-related administrative functions including data entry, enrolments, attendance processes, publications and general administrative support. As representatives of the school, members of the Corporate Services team should demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and positive relationship building.

Suitable applicants should ideally possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with empathy, patience, initiative and problem-solving abilities. An understanding of Department of Education policies and procedures, or the willingness to learn, will support positive outcomes and professional interactions across the school community. School Officers at Kellerberrin DHS should ideally be flexible, organised and willing to work across a variety of administrative functions as required.

Suitable applicants should have the capacity and confidence to develop skills across a broad range of Corporate Services areas, including reception, attendance, enrolment processing, finance support, purchasing and student administration. We are seeking applications from individuals who can bring enthusiasm, adaptability, attention to detail and a strong team-oriented approach to the role.

Experience in the use of key administrative software programs such as Student Information System (SIS) Integris, RM Billing, RM Finance and Compass is desirable, but not essential.
