The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join the close-knit and dynamic leadership team at Mount Pleasant Primary School (PS). In what is anticipated to become a permanent appointment, we are seeking a highly capable, experienced and proactive Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to lead corporate operations within our complex and fast-paced school environment.

As MCS, you would play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of the school’s business operations. You will ideally display strong capabilities in financial management, including strategic planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting, while ensuring compliance with Departmental policies and procedures.

The successful applicant would provide strong leadership to school support staff and oversee the administration and coordination of systems and processes across the school. You should be an organised, resourceful and solutions-focused professional who thrives in a busy environment and is able to prioritise competing demands with confidence and professionalism.

A strong “can do” attitude, exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued. You will ideally display experience in implementing and monitoring effective asset management and maintenance strategies, as well as contributing to business and operational planning in collaboration with the Principal and leadership team. Experience with digital systems, particularly Compass, will be highly regarded.

With outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, the MCS would build and maintain positive and productive relationships with staff, students, families and external stakeholders. As a key member of the leadership team, the MCS is integral to the ongoing success of our school, and your ability to balance operational demands while working collaboratively across all areas of the school community will be highly valued.
