The Role
As the Media and Communications Officer, you will play a key role in promoting the school’s identity and achievements. You should have a strong interest in social media and be confident in creating a range of communication materials to support marketing activities, events and whole-school initiatives. The role includes maintaining and updating the school’s website, social media channels and related software to ensure content is accurate, current and engaging.
The successful applicant will ideally build and maintain positive relationships with print and digital media outlets, as well as key internal and external stakeholders. You will actively seek opportunities to enhance the school’s online presence and extend the reach of our communications within the school community and through our Alumni network.
We are seeking someone who is ideally highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience in school event planning and management will be highly regarded. You should be confident in photography and video production, and in managing a large image library. Experience in graphic design and the use of Adobe software such as InDesign, Canva, Illustrator and Photoshop will be highly regarded.
