We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Situated on the highest point in Eaton on the picturesque northern fringe of Bunbury, our school has grown from its humble beginnings of three classrooms to a thriving educational institution that cherishes its local roots while embracing innovation and growth. At Eaton Primary School (PS), we are not just a school; we are a family—a community where every member is valued and supported.

Find out more about our school by visiting Eaton Primary School or Schools Online.

The Role

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties.

During vacation times, you will also undertake the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.

In this role, you will ideally have good attention to detail and will be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment, including taking direction from the Cleaner in Charge. You should be organised, honest, reliable, and punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices. Although cleaning experience would be an advantage, no previous school cleaning experience is required.
