This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026.

The Role

As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Executive team to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders, all within the context of a science learning area.

In your capacity as the Science curriculum leader, you shoud use your dispalyed communication and interpersonal skills combined with thorough curriculum and system knowledge to ensure teachers stay informed on the recent curriculum changes whilst assisting them to develop their pedagogy based around systemic STEM initiatives and high impact teaching strategies within Byford’s instructional framework.

As a data informed leader you should be instrumental in evaluating student performance, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the Science learning area.

Our school’s planning and improvement is based on the Fogarty Edvance program, which is supported and promoted by all leaders across our college.
