The Western Australia Police Force is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative leader to head a team of experienced procurement professionals as Senior Procurement Manager – ICT, within the Strategic Procurement and Contracts Division.

This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at both a strategic and operational level – shaping procurement outcomes that directly enable frontline policing and contribute to the safety of communities across Western Australia. As a trusted leader, you will foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and excellence while partnering with key stakeholders across government and policing operations.

You will oversee the delivery of complex, high-value ICT procurements, ensuring robust, future-focused contract solutions that strengthen operational capability. Your work will enable police personnel to operate effectively in some of the most remote, complex, and demanding environments in the world – where reliable technology is critical.

THE ROLE 

We are seeking an accomplished and motivated procurement leader to join our leadership team. As Senior Procurement Manager you will play a critical role in leading complex, high-risk ICT procurement activities that directly support frontline policing capability across Western Australia.

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including the development of procurement strategies, tender documentation, evaluation processes, and commercial negotiations.
  • Interpret and apply government policy, champion best-practice approaches and collaborate with stakeholders to design commercially sound, compliant solutions aligned with Agency strategic priorities.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships and enhance engagement across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Provide inclusive and effective people leadership-developing capability, motivating performance and fostering a positive, outcomes-focused team culture.

The role is suited to a leader who thrives in complexity, exercises sound judgement, and can connect policy, practice and stakeholder expectations to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes with confidence and integrity.
