About The Role:  

As an Asset Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the Department’s ICT hardware and software assets are effectively managed across their full lifecycle. Working within Technology Services, you’ll coordinate planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance and retirement of assets, ensuring accurate records, compliance with policies and a high standard of service delivery.

You’ll maintain asset registers, conduct validation checks and audits, manage licensing and mobile device records, and support procurement and contract management activities where required. A strong customer focus is central to this role, as you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, service providers and clients – providing advice, guidance and training on asset and service management processes.

Assisting staff with asset and service-related matters forms a significant part of the role, requiring liaison, training and consultation with a wide variety of stakeholders.

About You:

You are an organised and detail‑focused ICT Asset Coordinator with experience managing hardware and software assets across their full lifecycle in a dynamic, governance‑driven environment. You take ownership of maintaining accurate asset and licensing records, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and proactively managing risk and data integrity.

A collaborative team player, you work closely with ICT, finance, procurement, service providers and colleagues to deliver practical, customer‑focused outcomes. You are comfortable communicating technical information clearly to stakeholders at all levels and thrive in a role that values teamwork, shared responsibility and continuous process improvement. With a strong customer‑centric mindset and experience across both hardware and software environments, you contribute positively to service delivery and operational effectiveness.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
