Eligibility to

At a time of
multiple, large scale digital transformation, infrastructure and
innovative clinical reform programs and initiatives being delivered
across WA Health, the Department of Health has recently appointed a
new Assistant Director General, Chief Digital Officer and is
mobilising the new Digital Health Division. It holds responsibility
for digital strategy, prioritisation, planning and design
as well as the implementation and assurance of major WA Health ICT
projects and will play a pivotal role in strengthening digital
governance, investment oversight, demand prioritisation, delivery
capability and maturity uplift across WA Health.
In addition
to the roles described below, more opportunities are anticipated to
arise in the near future across our priority functions, including
mobilisation of an enterprise Program Management Office, and
delivery of the WA Health Digital Strategy 2020-2030.
Position
Description
The Cyber
Security team within the Digital Health Division provides
system-wide coordination, oversight and support for cyber security
across the WA health system. This includes contributing to cyber
strategy, governance, assurance activities and the delivery of
uplift initiatives in line with Government priorities.
We are
seeking two PSA Level 6 positions to support this work. These roles
operate across a mix of program assurance and project delivery
activities and will contribute to strengthening cyber security
capability across the health system.
PSO
Level 6 Senior Project Officer – Cyber Security, Digital Health
Division
Supporting
the planning and delivery of cyber security initiatives, including
coordination of activities, stakeholder engagement, and development
of project artefacts and reporting. This includes contributing to
implementation activities and supporting alignment across multiple
stakeholders.
PSO
Level 6 Program Officer – ICT Assurance, Digital Health
Division
Supporting
system-wide assurance activities, including governance, risk and
compliance reporting, audit coordination, and monitoring of cyber
security controls. This includes analysing information, identifying
risks and improvement opportunities, and contributing to reporting
and advice for senior stakeholders.

Other
Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12)
months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment
