This is a Permanent
Full Time, Part Time or Fixed Term Full Time, Part Time appointment
with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
This position may support the
Acute Care Response Team (ACRT), which operates as a 7-day
community-based service. This position participates in a roster
across Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays.
Shift times may vary in accordance with service demand and
operational requirements.
As a vital member of a
multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse (CN) plays a crucial
role in managing, coordinating, and delivering advanced nursing
care to children, families, and carers. You will utilise your
leadership skills and clinical expertise to enhance the patient
experience, working closely with a dedicated team committed to
high-quality care.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced nursing
care while ensuring adherence to NMBA standards for
practice.
- Coordinate
multidisciplinary team meetings to facilitate client-focused
care and timely discharges.
- Participate in quality
improvement initiatives to elevate clinical practice
standards.
- Provide clinical
supervision and mentorship to nursing staff and
students.
- Manage patient care
planning and collaborate effectively with families and other
healthcare professionals.
Ideal
Candidate:
- Eligibility for
registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and
Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Proven advanced clinical
knowledge and experience in evidence-based nursing
care.
- Exceptional communication
and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team
effectively.
- Experience in quality
improvement and risk management to enhance patient
care.
- Proficiency in digital
tools and technologies for clinical practice.
- A solid understanding of
legislative and regulatory requirements affecting healthcare
delivery.
