The Role
As a key member of the College leadership team, you will work closely with the Principal and Executive team to contribute to the implementation of the College Business Plan through collaborative decision-making, while promoting the College’s vision and strategic directions. Through proactive, supportive, and collaborative leadership, you will drive improvement, model high expectations, and inspire both staff and students.
In your role as a curriculum leader, you will play a key part in developing and supporting your team through performance development, as well as leading curriculum planning in line with School Curriculum Standards Authority requirements. You will work collaboratively to foster a culture of teaching and learning that draws on high-quality evidenced based explicit instruction that actively engages every student through individualised approaches to learning, literacy and numeracy. The ability to lead change and innovation, and to use evidence-based data to inform decision-making, will be highly regarded. You will ideally be responsible for analysing performance data within the Health and Physical Education learning area, and for developing, implementing, and reviewing both operational and strategic improvement plans to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
A key aspect of the role will involve leading change management strategies to support the school community in embracing and implementing improvements that have a positive impact on student outcomes within the learning area.
