WA Country Health Service are seeking a
suitably experienced Podiatrist to join the Great Southern
Population Health Team.
This is a Fixed Term Full Time
appointment until 30/06/2027, with the possibility of extension(s)
and/or permanency.
Position Profile: The role
plans, coordinates, delivers, monitors and evaluates the delivery
of timely and culturally appropriate Podiatry services within a
dedicated regional location. Undertakes associated supervisory and
administrative duties as part of the WA Country Health Services
provision.
Eligibility to Apply: To be

(for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen,
permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in
Australia (for permanent appointments).

Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust

undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as
part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking a criminal
record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required
to undertake a working with children check (if required for the
role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask referees
to comment on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical

Whilst this selection process will initially
be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill
other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In
addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate
the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may
also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain
valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised
delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

The Great Southern is situated on Western Australia’s south coast
and covers 39,007 square kilometres. The Great Southern is
unmatched for the scale, diversity and accessibility of its natural
attractions, including rugged coastline, white sandy beaches,
forests, wildflowers and the highest peaks in southern Western
Australia. The region boasts robust tourism and primary production
industries which provide the backbone of the economy. The town of
Albany is central to WACHS Great Southern and is located alongside
the historically rich and picturesque Port of Albany. The Regional
Health Service offers one main health facility at Albany which is
widely supported by a network of smaller Multi-Purpose Service
(MPS) sites at Bremer Bay, Denmark, Gnowangerup, Jerramungup,
Katanning, Kojonup, Plantagenet, Ravensthorpe and
Tambellup.
