The Role

Kensington Secondary School is seeking to appoint a friendly, approachable, and highly motivated individual to the position of School Officer.

The School Officer is a key administrative role and serves as the first point of contact for our school community. Responsibilities include a range of front office duties such as welcoming visitors, answering telephone enquiries, and responding to routine requests for information in a professional and efficient manner. The successful applicant will demonstrate a positive, caring disposition and a commitment to supporting the smooth operation and excellence of the school.

In addition to administrative responsibilities, this role requires regular interaction with students and staff. The School Officer will engage respectfully with our students with disabilities and work collaboratively with the staff who support their education. As such, an understanding of, and a commitment to, inclusive and respectful communication with teenage students with disabilities is highly desirable.
