This is
a vacancy for Permanent or Fixed-Term appointments avilable at
Full-Time and Part-Time hours. Fixed-Term positions have the
possibility of extension and/or permanency.
These positions are with the
Armadale Health Service.

Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must
have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an
Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and
work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

experienced Registered Midwife with coordinating experience,
currently based elsewhere in Australia or overseas, and are

A relocation
package is not offered, however, visa sponsorship may be
considered for candidates who have at least five years of
experience within a relevant model of care.

Conditions: WA Health engages staff in
positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require

checking as part of the appointment process. As well as undertaking
a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be
required to undertake a working with children check (if required
for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. We may ask

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to
fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
Position
Profile: We are currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic
individuals to appoint to Clinical Midwife roles with the Armadale
Health Service. In this position, the successful applicants will
work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical and
professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based
midwifery/nursing care is delivered to patients in addition to
promoting patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Midwife
practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing
and Midwifery Board's Midwifery Practice Decision

Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS)
comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that
aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than

rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and neonatal, mental health,
renal medicine and dialysis services and ambulatory
care.
