  • A strong team-focused approach and collaborative attitude
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive problem-solving ability

Leadership is part of who we are

We believe that everyone is a leader, and the core leadership behaviours outlined in the Public Sector Commissions ‘Leadership Expectations’ apply to all roles.

To be successful in this application, you’ll need to demonstrate these leadership behaviours in the context of Leading Others. Leaders in this first formal positional leadership context motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work that contributes to the organisation. They need to balance their time between doing the work and, coaching, guiding, and developing others.

Leaders in this context make a direct and immediate difference to GESB. They work within a defined area of responsibility, and with personal accountability, to deliver results that support their team and the organisation to deliver our strategic objectives.

Why join our team?

We genuinely value work/life balance, support professional development, and empower our employees to be their best.

Some of the benefits of working at GESB include:

  • Competitive remuneration: Award-based salary with annual increments and a 12% superannuation contribution, plus access to generous salary packaging arrangements.
