The role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Portfolio Construction to join our Investments team.
This critical role focuses on managing asset allocation frameworks and ensuring the seamless execution of investment decisions. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the Head of Portfolio Construction will drive strategic investment initiatives and deliver on returns.
This is a full-time position on a five-year fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Team to manage asset allocation frameworks
- Oversee ongoing cash flow management, portfolio rebalancing, and ensure asset allocation aligns with targets
- Opportunity to develop and implement the funds currency management policy
- Enhance and improve the annual and medium-term strategic asset allocation review processes
- Manage the risk management system and lead preparations for upcoming tender processes
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in managing asset allocation frameworks within a superannuation investment environment
- 10-15 years of experience in portfolio construction, asset allocation or investment strategy within superannuation and/or asset consulting
- Proficiency with risk management systems such as FactSet or similar platforms is highly favourable
- Management experience is desirable, particularly in guiding and developing team members
- A strong team-focused approach and collaborative attitude
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive problem-solving ability
