Area Profile: WA Country Health Service
(WACHS) Mental Health Central Office (MHCO) is a skilled and
dynamic team drawing on a wide range of experience and backgrounds
to reflect diversity in cultural, consumer, peer and clinical
perspectives across a range of functions to support and develop
contemporary mental health and alcohol and other drugs services
across the state. WACHS mental health services provide a broad
range of clinical services including face to face and virtual
service delivery formats.
The WACHS Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Service (ICAMHS) Specialist Hub (WISH) sits within WACHS
Mental Health Services. The WISH service and team is currently in
the process of being established by MHCO. Working with WACHS
regional teams, WISH will contribute to the strengthening of
specialist mental health care and aims to improve the health
outcomes for children and young people aged 0–18 years living in
country WA.
Position Profile: MHCO is seeking a
skilled and motivated individual for the role of Administrative
Assistant. In this new role, you will be responsible for
providing clerical, administration and secretarial support to the
WISH team. You will be an important part of this multidisciplinary
team made up of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, and other
Professionals.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, a team player,
proactive, good communicator and demonstrates sound organisation
and administrative skills, to enable you to effectively support the
WISH Team Leader and team members. The WISH service commences
on 1 July 2026 and you will assist with establishing and setting up
the administrative processes.
