About us

The work area

This role sits within the Budget Coordination and Transport Directorate which is part of the Office of the Deputy Under Treasurer business unit. The Budget Coordination team is central to the Government and DTF’s planning and execution of the State’s Budget and Mid-year Review processes and facilitating Government decision making.

 

The opportunity

Are you passionate about contributing to Government decision making? We are looking for a motivated leader to join us and make a difference for Western Australia. In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team of staff that play a key role in the State Budget and Mid-year Review process.
  • Develop strong working relationships with DTF Analysts, Assistant Directors, Directors and Senior Executive to bring together information in a timely manner, and in a clear and concise format for DTF Executive and Government decision making.
  • Work closely with the Treasurer’s Office in the planning and execution of the Budget and Mid-year Review processes.
  • Continuously improve and implement internal and external facing processes through a consultative approach based on a sound and pragmatic approach to project/process management.

We currently have one (1) permanent full-time position available for filling within the Budget Coordination team.
