Clinical Haematology & Medical Oncology
Position
profile:
The trainee will assume a leading
role in the management of both inpatients and outpatients within
the Oncology Department, in addition to undertaking other clinical,
teaching, and research responsibilities as directed by the Head of
Department. This clinical leadership role will be carried out under
the direct supervision of the responsible consultant of the area.
The trainee will also be expected to contribute to the education
and mentorship of registrars, advanced trainees, and junior medical
officers rotating through the department. The primary objective of
this training is to enable the trainee to develop the skills and
experience necessary to function independently as a consultant in
oncology.

in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology,
Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and
Perth Children’s Hospital.
