to lead the operational management of Gnowangerup Hospital. This
pivotal role involves overseeing care assessment, case management,
and the delivery of healthcare to complex clients, alongside
providing specialist consulting and educational services to
clients, carers, and primary healthcare providers.
Position
Profile: Responsible for the effective and efficient
operational management of Gnowangerup Hospital including care,
assessment, planning, case management and delivery of health care
to complex clients. Also provides a specialist clinical consultant
and educational service to clients, carers and primary health care
providers.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Lead the
operational management of Gnowangerup Hospital, ensuring the
delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing
care.
- Provide
advanced clinical leadership and expertise in acute and
emergency nursing settings, implementing clinical guidelines
and standards.
- Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to tackle complex care issues, enhancing
patient outcomes through problem-solving and discharge
planning.
- Coordinate quality
improvement projects to ensure customer-focused service
delivery and monitor nursing staff levels in response to
patient acuity.
- Manage
performance development for nursing staff, facilitating
training to promote safe and effective patient
care.
- Undertake investigations
of clinical incidents and drive the implementation of
continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Ideal
Candidate:
- Eligible
for registration as a Registered Nurse by the Nursing &
Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Proven
clinical and leadership skills in acute emergency and
residential aged care nursing, including change management
expertise.
- Demonstrated experience
in managing resources effectively to achieve high-quality,
consumer-centred patient care.
- Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills, capable of negotiating and resolving
conflicts.
- Strong
computer proficiency to manage online patient data and internal
communications.
- Current
knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements related to
equal opportunity, disability services, and occupational
safety.
- Valid
‘C’ or ‘C-A’ class driver’s licence.
