Position Profile: The Finance
Analyst contributes to managing, controlling and capturing
information to meet requirements associated with the annual budget
cycle, including financial estimates and policy advice, financial
analysis and adjustments to budget settings. As part of the Budget
Strategy Branch, your key responsibilities will include:
- Take an active role in
delivering analysis of financial, budgetary or business
projections or trends to underpin budget strategy
advice.
- Provide financial analysis
and advice on system-wide projects and issues that may/will
impact on the Department of Health finances.
- Contribute towards high
quality products, services and advice that is proactive,
solution focussed and responsive to customer needs.
- Contribute to the
development and implementation of improvements to system-wide
financial management systems and processes.

Eligibility to
Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants
must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be
an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live
and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

process. As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and
integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working

Whilst this selection process will initially be
used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other

be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid
for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised
